“The emergence of ‘turbo’ cancers following COVID-19 vaccination – characterised by unusually aggressive behaviour, relapses in cases of remission and occurrence in younger individuals – represents a worrying clinical picture that requires urgent scientific investigation. Whilst public debate has largely dismissed these tumours as coincidental or biologically improbable, the mechanistic data presented in this review suggest otherwise. The spike protein may interfere with key regulatory pathways of carcinogenesis, including metabolic reprogramming, immune surveillance, resistance to apoptosis and stem cell proliferation.”
